# The Void

Author: @JohnHammond#6971 When you gaze long into the void, the void gazes also into you...

This challenge was a bit weird at the start as once i connected to the server, all I saw was

<figure><img src="https://175444261-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FyxEI13wXOyST4LLTOUiS%2Fuploads%2FDndR83jal0YM2BwwO79N%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=3c07da1c-88ad-488d-9cb4-990a375e5392" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

just a black screen. This was confusing at the start, so I decided to copy paste all the characters. When i copied it i got&#x20;

```
                                               flag{b1370ac4fadd8c0237f8771d7d77286a}
                                                                          flag{b1370ac4fadd8c0237f8771d7d77286a}
```

So I realised that it was actually just blank space and the flag, thus making the flag `flag{b1370ac4fadd8c0237f8771d7d77286a`
